A nice walk or cycle along the Taupo waterfront. I cycled. It was a dull day in Autumn that I went, in between rain showers. But on a fine day the views are stunning, especially looking down the lake to Mts Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu. However they were hidden in cloud on this day.
